This basic sailing course is designed to get the new sailor off on the right track. You will learn basic sailing through a combination of classroom and on-the-water instructions.  Areas of Instruction Include: Sailboat Familiarization; Sailing Terminology; Rigging and Sails; Points of Sail, Sail Trim, Tacking and Jibing; Rules of the Road; Safety at Sea; Docking and Mooring; Sailing Knots

Tuition includes Textbook, classroom materials, ASA logbook, ASA 101 Certification, 100-question sailing knowledge test, ASA student registration and EVN fees, plus a 1-year membership to ASA.
